October 2010 R.O.Writer News You Can Use

Do you have the Activant Interface? Are you using it to increase your point of sale productivity? Service Intervals Plus Demo Link and Smart eCat Demo Link can significantly reduce the amount of time you spend creating quotes and estimates along with parts ordering from your suppliers.

Maintenance Reminders:

Remember when you receive your Activant Catalog DVD and update to update the makes and models in R.O.Writer. go to Configuration/File/Update Activant Makes And Models, insert the DVD in your drive then select OK. This function keeps your Makes, Models and engine sizes up to date in R.O.Writer.

Remember to back up every day in the Reporting Module using the End of Day function then Reorganize the Database.

If your using XP make sure you have updated it to Service Pac 3. The new R.O.Writer updates will not install unless your version of XP is using this version. R.O.Writer Computer and Operation Specification Link
